Our bridal appointments are 90 minutes, giving you plenty of time to explore our designer collections, try different styles and silhouettes, and find the gowns you love.

Yes. Our bridal appointments are €30 and can be booked directly through our website.

At weekends, we can accommodate the bride plus three guests. If you would like to bring a larger group, we may be able to accommodate additional guests during weekday appointments. Please give our team a call before booking and we will be happy to advise you.

There is no need to bring anything special to your bridal appointment. We recommend wearing comfortable, seamless or nude underwear where possible. If you already have your wedding shoes, or a similar heel height to the shoes you are considering, you are welcome to bring them, but it isn’t essential. Most importantly, come ready to try different styles — sometimes the dress you fall in love with is completely different from the one you originally imagined.

Our wedding dress samples range from UK sizes 6–26, with different sample sizes available across our designer collections. The gown you try does not need to be your exact size. Our bridal consultants can help you try different samples and show you how a gown will look and fit before your dress is ordered.

Once you have found your wedding dress, our bridal team will take your measurements and advise you on the appropriate size to order from the designer. A 50% deposit is paid when your dress is ordered. When your gown arrives at TBO Bridal, we will contact you to arrange an appointment to come in and try it on. The remaining 50% balance is paid at this appointment.

When ordering your wedding dress, we will arrange the delivery date with the designer based on your wedding date. We normally schedule your gown to arrive at TBO Bridal approximately 10–12 weeks before your wedding, as bridal alterations generally begin around 6–8 weeks before the wedding day. If you would prefer your dress to arrive earlier, just let us know when placing your order. Where the designer’s lead time allows, we can request an earlier delivery date for you. If you are ordering closer to your wedding date, don’t worry. Depending on the designer and gown, shorter lead times or a rush-cut service may be available. Our bridal team will check the options with the designer before your order is placed and make sure the delivery timeframe works with your wedding date.

Alongside our current designer collections available to order, TBO Bridal has a dedicated Off-the-Peg Collection of designer wedding dresses available to purchase directly from the boutique at discounted prices. Off-the-Peg simply means that instead of ordering your chosen gown from the designer, you purchase the individual dress available in the boutique. Like clothing in any designer store, these gowns may have been tried on by other customers, but they have not been previously owned or worn as a wedding dress. Our Off-the-Peg Collection includes gowns from leading bridal designers in a range of styles and sizes, with each dress individually priced to reflect its discounted price. It is a wonderful option for brides who find a gown they love and would like to purchase it at a reduced price, as well as those working with a shorter wedding timeframe, as there is no designer-order waiting period. You can browse a selection of our Off-the-Peg Wedding Dresses online, but as new gowns are continually added to the collection, there will often be additional dresses available to discover in store.

Alterations are carried out by independent bridal alteration specialists and are not included as part of your TBO Bridal order. Over the years, a number of independent alteration specialists have looked after many of our brides, and we are happy to provide their contact details when it is time to arrange your fittings. Bridal alteration specialists can become particularly busy during peak wedding season, so we recommend contacting your chosen specialist in plenty of time to arrange your fitting dates.
